Boomerang is bolstering its executive team with the appointment of Shona Baldwin as Director of Development.
Reporting to Gareth Rees, Managing Director, Shona will be charged with building the company’s factual and factual entertainment slate, which boasts titles including Posh Pawn (Channel 4) The Clare Balding Show (BT Sport/BBC Two) and Bargain Fever Britain (ITV1).
Shona joins from Outline Productions, where she spent the past 2 years leading the factual and entertainment development team, securing fact-ent and features formats as well as the feature-documentary Things We Won’t Say About Race That Are True.
Prior to that, Shona was Head of Format Development at Studio Lambert, creating and producing programming that included Gogglebox, The Great British Interior Design Challenge and Million Second Quiz for NBC.
Shona began her career in production, working at ITV Studios for five years on programmes including Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, Come Dine With Me, Hell’s Kitchen and The Savoy.
