As the world is gripped by wedding fever, Extreme Cake Makers: Royal Wedding Special (w/t) sees our fabulous and eccentric line up of cake making extraordinaires fulfilling a brand new order book of magnificent cakes – all inspired by Harry and Meghan’s big day.

Molly’s rolling up her sleeves to create a cake modelled on Meghan’s beagle and the Queen’s favoured dog, the corgi, for a royal-themed charity event. Extreme Cake Makers viewers will know Molly does not take any commission lightly – so expect a delicious 4 foot wide creation with every whisker and hair sculpted to perfection. Ben’s been commissioned to make a special caricature cake for a polo club – and it’ll be of none other than Prince Harry Nastassja’s been tasked to create as stunning edible treat to share with an event full of wedding professionals. Pilot-come-cake maker Rosie is taking her latest commission to new heights. A bridal boutique has ordered a royal-themed cake, and nothing but a royal iced horse-drawn carriage will do. Phil and Christine are kicking off the wedding season by creating a new collection fit for a king – and where better to shoot the cakes than a castle? There’s 33 tiers to transport over 100 miles. Meanwhile, Suzanne is creating an intricate, majestic cake for a bride and groom who are royally excited about Meghan and Harry’s special day.

This special, extended length programme, visits some of the series’ favourite crafts men and women as they do a right royal job at making even more dreams come true. Rufus Hound narrates.
