BT was the principle sponsorship partner for the London 2012 Paralympic Games. BT needed a one-stop production partner to drive home their key message helping people share in an event they might not know or understand.
Responding to a brief we created the following content plan.
15 PRIMETIME BROADCAST FILMS
Created and produced three series of Superhuman short form films which aired in primetime slots on Channel 4, the host broadcaster of the Games. The films helped in identifying the tone that would be carried on into the Paralympics Games TV coverage and introduced some of the stars of 2012 to a mass audience.
28 SPONSORSHIP IDENTS
Created and produced the BT Sponsorship Idents for London 2012 Paralympic Games on Channel 4. We wanted to connect the whole of the UK to the Games and featured the stars of 2012 sharing their dreams and ambitions to the backdrop of iconic locations throughout Britain.
HIGH-END COMMUNICATION FILMS
Created and produced several high-end marketing films for big screens across BT’s London 2012 events including BT’s London Live Hyde Park Concerts and internally for over 250,000 BT staff.
Short form films 15 Million viewers.
Sponsorship idents 44 million viewers.
BT finished London 2012 as most recognised sponsor amongst the UK public.
Boomerang are consistently creative – the team have developed some exceptional concepts and scripts, which to be frank, has made us question the need, in many cases, for using an ad agency! The quality of the films they have produced speaks for itself.
They also always deliver. They’re straight-talking, have a clear point of view, and manage all projects effectively; we have always been on time, and in budget. I have been recommending Boomerang to colleagues across the BT organization, and would not hesitate is using them again, and in recommending them externally.
